13.4.2 Manually Close Price Quote

A published Price Quote can be Manually Closed up to the Respond by Date and Time (when the quote will automatically close for award).

The purpose of manually closing a Price Quote is to end the process early so that awards can be made and delays avoided. For example, if all suppliers respond well in advance of the Respond by Date and Time there may be little point waiting for this time to arrive and delaying the progress of the requisition.

• To close the Price Quote prior to the Respond By date, check the “Close Price Quote and Reopen Requisition” check box. A click through confirmation message will appear.
• Upon closing, the status of the Price Quote will change to 'Closed for Awarding' and the requisition will be unlocked.
