5.3 Decimal Rounding

Note that if you have used decimal quantities in your basket, occasionally the order total may display a rounding difference. This is normal. Calculations are performed and stored using the entered level of precision and the displayed amount is rounded. Order totals are based on the stored, non-rounded extended values.

For example, the table below shows an order with two line items, the stored extended value, the displayed extended value, and the order total.

Note the rounding difference between the displayed extended amount total and sum of the displayed extended line amounts.
